The Stillwater Medical Foundation was created in a time when there was a serious shortage of nurses.
The focus, during its inauguration, was "to provide funds to SMC staff for professional enrichment, such as continuing education courses or financial assistance towards nursing degree tuition."
Thirty-some years later, the Foundation is home to one of the most substantial education programs outside of a teaching hospital. With nearly 20 endowed employee scholarships and 4 endowed high school fellowships, Stillwater Medical has unique opportunities to grow its high-rated, compassionate staff.
