The Stillwater Medical Center Foundation is guided by a volunteer board of directors representing many facets of our community, as well as a staff of individuals with many years experience and strong community ties and loyalty.

The commitment of the individuals who serve on the Foundation Board is a prime example of how much this community stands behind the hospital. The board is composed of business owners, educators, physicians, attorneys, dentists and retirees – your friends and neighbors. Not only do they offer up their time, their talents and annual personal financial support, they join in our mission and take it on as their own.

Accountability to the public and to private donors is imperative in maintaining a standard of trust and effectiveness. The Board of Directors distributes gifts to the medical center as donors have directed or provides the highest level of stewardship through independent management and disbursement of unrestricted funds.

Our Mission:

The SMC Foundation collaborates with SMC administration and department heads to achieve the maximum return possible for our donors’ and patients’ charitable investments, enhancing the hospital’s medical equipment, facilities, services, education and personnel.
